And One Was Loyal (1959)
From General Electric Theater. Joan Crawford plays Ann Howard, a painter and the abused wife of a plantation boss in Singapore. Her life drastically changes when George Manson visits the plantation unexpectedly.
Nanny, a London family’s live-in maid, brings morbid 10-year-old Joey back from the psychiatric ward he’s been in for two years, since the death of his younger sister. Joey refuses to eat any food Nanny’s prepared or take a bath with her in the room.
The stooges are stage hands who also have small parts in a big play. They quickly get on the bad side of the producer. First they fail to prevent a famous critic from sneaking into the audience. Then Shemp accidentally adds a pot holder into a cake they bake as a prop. During the play the stooges (as southern gentlemen) and the rest of the cast spit up feathers during what was supposed to be a serious scene. The critic thinks it’s a hilarious satire and the boys are redeemed.
The circuit judge lion delegates the job of trying the notorious bank bandit, Fowler Means, to Snagglepuss. Snag holds court in Loophole Mesa, a frontier town. After the prosecutor comes down with a case of lead poisoning -- from the bandit's bullet -- Snagglepuss has to take over his job.
