our study on the truth about God debunking the lies of the devil and revealing the

truth about God found in the word listen and be blessed today what we're going to

do we're going to continue our teaching series about the truth about God our key checks

for this lesson is found in Titus Chapter 2 verse 1 and it says but as

for you tighter speak teach the things that are consistent with sound Doctrine and that's what we're doing we're teaching

the things that are consistent with sound Doctrine as it pertains to the truth about God last week

we debunked three of the lies about God today we're going to continue to debunk more lies

about God by contrasting the lies with the truth that is found in the word we

have to always come back to the word the word defines who God is God has revealed himself

to us in his word so you want to know the truth about God you have to go

to his word to find the truth so that's what we're going to do false

teachers religious institutions the world they have created these images about God that's not true let's talk

about the fourth one God doesn't care about you or your suffering that's the lightest

out there that ties into the first point that we talked about how people think

that God is distant so if you think that God is distant from you you'll believe that he

doesn't care about your suffering he doesn't care about the pain your misfortunes that you incur in life and because

of this people question God's goodness but the truth is God God is good and he's close to the Brokenhearted

God does not ignore our suffering but he enters into it with us to comfort us that's the

god of the Bible Psalm 107 one says give thanks to the Lord for he is good goodness is who

he is God is good and we say that he's good all the time he's good when things are

going good and he's good when things are not going so good so in our times

of trouble in times of pain and Times of suffering in times of Misfortune God is with us

we have to believe that the LIE is that God is distant from us he

don't care but the Bible says just the opposite you and I are supposed to give thanks

to the Lord in the good times and the bad times for he is good goodness is who God

is and it's verse continues to say and his love endures forever this is why we

can say God is good and he's good all the time don't ever forget that there never is a time

that God does not good but here's the question do we seek the Lord in times of trouble

do we seek the Lord when trials and tribulations and circumstances pop up in our life when you

seek the Lord he will be found and and the Lord that we seek is good and he's

good all the time Psalm 34:18 says this the Lord is close he's near to the Brokenhearted he's not

distant he's not a far the Lord is close the Lord is near to the Brokenhearted

those who Spirits are crushed we live in a world today where we're surrounded with people whose

Spirits are crushed or broken hearted they don't know where to turn they're hopeless if they only knew and realized

that the Lord is close to them that's his desire he wants to be close to them but you

have to seek Him the Lord is close but you have to acknowledge Him the Lord

is close but you have to reach out out to him Jesus said in Luke 4:18 the spirit of

the Lord is on me because he has anointed me to preach the good news to the poor he has

sent me to heal the brokenhearted to Proclaim Liberty to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind

to release the oppressed that's why he came the Lord is close to brokenhearted those whose

Spirits are crushed Jesus said I have come to heal the brokenhearted the healer is here the healer is closed

the healer is near to the Brokenhearted to those whose Spirits are crushed for those

who don't know where to turn when to go to those who feel helpless in

life Jesus said this is why I came to heal the brokenhearted it not to put a bandaid on

it not to give temporary relief but to heal the brokenhearted because the Lord is close he's near he's not

afar he cares about us first Peter 5:7 says we ought to cast all of our

cares all of our eggs ayat he's all of our worries and concerns on him the

Amplified says that we're supposed to cast all of our societies all of your worries all

your concerns once and for all on him why because he cares for you we're trying to

carry all of our anxieties worries and concerns but that's not his will for you he wants you

to cast all not some all of your anxieties your worries and concern once and for all on

him see there's some things in life we can't handle there's some things in life we

can't deal with guy said cash these things to me let me handle it I

don't want you burdened down with problems and issues that you can't handle cast these things

to me let me deal with it so that you'll be free to serve me to love

me to care for your fellow brothers and sisters in Christ you can't minister to nobody if you burdened down

if you worried and depressed rest that's why first Peter 5:7 says cast all your cares no matter how big

no matter how small cats all of them upon the Lord once and for all

because he cares for you somebody needs to know the truth today give them the word of God that's going

to help them introduce them to Jesus Christ Hebrews 4:15 says for we do not have a

high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses one who has been tempted in every way as

we are yet without sin Jesus Christ can sympathize with our weaknesses he can sympathize with our anxieties and

our words and our concerns because he himself has been tempted in every way as we are yet

without sin so go ahead and cast your cares and anxiety on to the Lord who

understands he's not gonna hold it against you you because he cares for you God

is compassionate and he's present in our sufferings he's not distant Jesus Christ himself experienced grief pain to rejection

parents sorrow when we experience these things he's able to sympathize with us he's able to relieve us of

that burden because he cares for us lie number four God doesn't care about us for that according to the

scripture line number five all paths lead to God now this is what the modern culture teaches through religion

through religious institutions the world that's against God they teach that all paths lead to God that truth is

relative that nothing is absolute and that every religion eventually will lead to God but

what is the truth what does the Bible say the truth is Jesus Christ is

the only way to the father religion cannot lead you to the father a relationship with

Jesus Christ is the only way to the father denomination cannot lead you to God Jesus Christ is

the only way to the father so the Bible is clear it teaches that salvation comes through

Jesus Christ and Jesus Christ Alone Jesus said John 14:6 I am the way I am the truth I am

the life the Amplified said I am the only way I am the real truth and I

am the real life no one comes to the father except through me that scripture that what Jesus

said about himself he's the only way to the Father the world religion teaches that there's many ways ways to

God Jesus said no I am the only way to the father so many people been hoodwinked

Bamboozled and led astray run them up because they were led to believe because they didn't

look to the Bible that these other religions will eventually lead them to God and they

died believing that Jesus said I am the only way no one comes to the father

except through me so if Jesus is the only way it can be no other way any other

way is a lie it's a deception is a false teaching so many Miss teachings out

here about salvation and how to get to heaven some people leave I just be good

enough to go to heaven what's the measurement of being good how do you measure good Jesus

said there's no one good no not one so you've being good is not going

to get you to heaven God defines what good is how can you say that you're good without God's definition

of goodness The Works folk I'm going to work my way to heaven let the works I've

done speak for me how do you measure works now what standard if you did more work than I did

that means you can get into heaven I can't who determine who gets into heaven who determines

who work as good and whose work is not good who makes that determination now listen if you

say you should be doing good if you save you should be doing good works but

good works and being good is not going to lead to Salvation Jesus said I am the

only way to Salvation no one comes to the father except through me matter of fact in Acts 4:12

it says there is salvation in no one else for there is no other name under Heaven given

to People by which which we must be saved there is salvation in no one else

for there is no other name under Heaven given to People by which we must be saved and

that name is Jesus Christ the Amplified says God has provided the world no alternative for

salvation there is no alternative for salvation Jesus Christ is the way Jesus Christ is the only way

I'll pass do not lead to God there's only one Jesus Christ and there is salvation

in no one else for there is no other name under Heaven given to People by which we must be

saved First Timothy chapter 2 verse 5 says there is one mediator between God and man the man Jesus

Christ but in many visions and many churches they've inserted the past in there I got to go through the

pasture to get to God and any church that teaches that you're not in a

Church of Jesus Christ you in a cult many churches have elevated the past of the

god status the pastor if they're worth their salt understands their role I'm a servant of God but people have

put the pastor there on a pedestal I got to go through the pasture to get to

God does not one verse in the Bible that supports that there is one mediator between God and

man the man and Jesus Christ the pastor the teacher did Vangelis the prophet in the Apostle they have

a specific role to equip the Saints to do the work of ministry to build up the body of

Christ their job is not to replace Christ if you're not taught that then you think that the pastor

is a mediator between you and God you do not have to go through a man to get to God

is Not scriptural it's not biblical the Bible says there is one mediator between God and man

the man Jesus Christ so let's not get Hoodwinked Bamboozled and stop putting pastors and spiritual leaders

on pedestals making them equal with god making them equal Jesus Christ are not God has determined the way to

him and that way is Jesus Christ he is the one mediator he is the only way to

the father period so no there's not many paths to God there's many paths to hell because of this false

teaching but there's not many paths to God there's only one path to God and that's Jesus Christ I

tell Believers I tell students if you want to test the validity of a religion of a denomination a church

what's their position on Jesus Christ if Jesus Christ is a way you need to

get out there church need to run Forrest run if Jesus Christ plus is what they teach

you to get out the church Jesus Christ is the only way to the father there is no

Jesus Christ Plus oh Jesus Christ is the only way to the father he is the

way he is the truth he is the life no one comes to the father except through him so

let's go ahead and debunked that fit fly all paths do not lead to God and the last one

we're going to talk about today is that God changes according to the culture this is a big thing

because we all into culture now people have put culture above God people have put culture

above Christianity it's a culture that's the culture of that is in the world is in our politics is

all over the place the LIE is that God change according to the culture some in the

world and in the church claim that the truth of the Bible changes or it evolves with society

and their ungodly teaching and their views the truth is God never changes his character

does not change his truth does not change his Holiness does not change God never

changes now there's a theological word some of y'all heard me say before God is immutable meaning he is unchanging

and he's incapable of change let's get into the scripture Hebrews 13:8 says that he's the same yesterday

today and forever more meaning his truth is the same yesterday today and forever more

his character is the same yesterday today and forever more and his Holiness and what he said about Holiness is

the same yesterday today and forever more so that means that whatever God said about a thing

yesterday is the same today and forever more whereas the world and society and even

some in the church is saying no no guys changed his position on this now it used to

be a sin but society as we have evolved we have I've determined that that's a archaic teaching it has

no validity today therefore we don't teach that I know the Bible called it a saint but based on

our re-evaluation of things we have determined that it's not a sin anymore the reality of it is

if God called you the sin yesterday is still a sin today and will be a saint tomorrow

because God unchanging and he is incapable of change God is not a man that he should

lie if God says is it is is God says it will be it will be

if God calls it a sin is a sin I don't care what they say today or how they

try to influence you or shame you into rejecting the truth of God's word if God

said that marriage is between a man and a woman marriage has been remanded woman period

so we have to weigh all of these quote societal evolutions and changes with the word of God and

God's word is what's going to stand because God's word doesn't change now in Malachi

went on to say Israel you need to be thankful about this because of I did change all of y'all

would be consumed think about that for a minute he told Israel I don't change and you need

to be glad about that because of I did change based on your present condition

all of y'all would be consumed I'm thankful today that God doesn't change I'm thankful today

God is Not flip-flopping his position on things I'm glad today that God is consistent see if you're

consistent I know where you stand I can't deal with nobody dares here today and over there tomorrow they

thinking this way today and no no no no the Bible said that's a stable man unstable in all

his ways I was watching a hearing in Washington d.c. the senator asked a simple question was a woman and

she started humming and hawing and what's a woman well I was a woman the man was getting

perturbed because his so-called I think she was a professor or some high scholarly person in a certain field you

could not answer a simple basic question you know why because Society has changed the definition of what

a woman is and is trying to influence you to change your thinking and idea

of what a woman is the sea god Define who a woman is God to find him Alias I

would expect this to go on in the world but when the church is confused about who Am L

is when the church is confused about who a woman is we got problems we got problems the Lord

does not change in the beginning God created man and woman he created male and female his position

on that has not changed God has given men specific roles and he's giving women specific roles Man was

created for a certain purpose woman was created for some purpose because God the Creator

created them that purpose that God created man and woman for still exist today he's the same yesterday today and

forever more God hasn't changed his position on the role of a man roll the woman the role of

a husband a role of a wife but Society is changing all of that so what do

we believe we believe what God says because God does not change according to culture he's the same yesterday today

and forever more I am the Lord I do not change because if I did y'all be

consumed and I'm glad God does not change listen that's why we can put our trust and faith in

what he says because his word does not change Heaven and Earth will pass away but the word

of God is going to remain forever that's why we can trust his word but see if you

don't have the word you'll be caught up in all of this worldly definition and world use

of things questioning God questioning the word what is a man what is a woman and

that's exactly what Satan wants you Satan wants you in a state of confusion when

the Bible says that God is not the author of confusion so if you're confused about

who is what and what's what didn't come from God because God does not change Psalm 1 1989 says Lord

your word is forever it is firmly fixed in heaven God does not change therefore his

word does not change God is faithful God is unchanging God is trustworthy and God is eternal

he is the same yesterday today and forever today we bought three more lies about God

God doesn't care about our suffering the truth is God good God is compassionate and he's

ever present in our sufferings he's a very present help in time of need my

number two we debunked today all paths lead to God no they don't the truth is there is only

one way and Jesus Christ is the only way to Salvation into the father now there's

many paths that lead to hell you don't want to be on that path so you better

be sure that you own the path that's going to lead to heaven and there's only one path

that leads to that and that's Jesus Christ he's the way and the third line we

debunked today is that God changes according to culture the truth is God is immutable he does not

change with the culture he does not change with the current times he doesn't change

and his word does not change he is the same yesterday today and forever the truth

about God and who he is his will his plans and his purposes have all been revealed in

his word this should free us and encourage us to keep moving forward in life to keep moving forward in

the things of God because we know in our assured about the truth about God that's
