Paul now goes before Felix. Annias, with his attorney Tertullus present their case against Paul to Felix. They presented a weak case, which Paul was pretty much able refute. However, Felix chose not to decide his case, placing him in jail, but with various freedoms in regard to visitations. Felix, along with Drusilla listened to Paul's message for several years before Felix was succeeded by Porcius Festus.

After the death of Stephen, Saul brought great persecution upon the Church chasing its’ leaders throughout Samaria and Gentile cities as they spread the gospel. Saul’s plan to eradicate Christianity didn’t work the way he had desired as Christianity only gained more followers. One of these church leaders was Philip. In Acts 8, Luke tells two stories about Philip, the first is his encounter with a sorcerer who tries to buy the power of the Holy Spirit, and the other involves teleportation and an Ethiopian Eunuch.

Peter has been captured by King Herod and jailed after James had been killed, Herod planned to have him killed after Passover, with a group of four guards continuously watching him. In the middle of the night, and Angel appeared in the Jail cell and freed Peter. Peter went along with the angel thinking it was a dream, but upon realizing it was real, went to John-Mark’s home. We also find out the fate of King Herod Agrippa who was not pleased at Peter’s jail break.
