Hey, Hey, we're the Monkees! the 60's sitcom about a struggling young band, was created by TV producers Bob Rafelson & Bert Schneider, inspired by The Beatles film "A Hard Days Night". The prefab four, as some critics labelled them, were Micky Dolenz, Mike Nesmith, Peter Tork and Davy Jones.
