Raise the Titanic 1980
To obtain a supply of a rare mineral, a ship raising operation is conducted for the only known source, the Titanic.

Charles Laughton plays Kidd, a merchant captain who cons the King of England into allowing him to take to the sea to recover a lost treasure and escort a ship back to London. An old fellow conspirator who he thought dead (John Carradine) and a mysterious young man (Randolph Scott) manage to get on board and cause problems for Kidd.

Roger Corman directed this tongue-in-cheek story about a gang of crooks who try to swindle a trunk of money away from some Cuban Exiles. Part of their plan involves a fabricated story of a sea monster. Unfortunately the sea monster turns out to be real.

Poet Elizabeth Barrett is slowly recovering from a crippling illness with the help of her siblings, especially her youngest sister, Henrietta. When she meets fellow poet Robert Browning, her heart belongs to him. However, her controlling father has no intention of allowing her out of his sight.
