Working in a home lab has its perks but it also has its challenges Let's talk about what you

manufactured with your safety and your customers safety in mind whether you are working in your home lab or

in your kitchen When you formulate you must follow the GMP rules In this video I'm going

to give you a step by step Guide step one clean clean clean get into the

habit of cleaning everything before you start to formulate close the door So the cat

can't come in and close the windows So no flying creatures will end up in your

beer clean the surfaces with suitable cleaning products sweep and wash the floor and make sure that

all your tools and equipment are still clean from previous use Step two prepare just because we

cleaned everything It doesn't mean that the lab is ready for formulating just yet First we

need to get ready get your personal protective equipment or P pe that means your mask your goggles

hairband if you have long hair and of course gloves to protect your clothes Wear an

apron or a lab coat and also wear no sleep shoes Next spray the tool and surfaces with 70% is

appropriate alcohol or rubbing alcohol and either leave everything to air dry or wipe them down

with a lint free cloth We've completed the preparation so we can move on to step three step three

formula and ingredients By now you should have your formulation ready on paper Did you know you

will spend more time researching ingredients and designing a formula on paper than actually making it You

dry and finally make sure you put all the items back to that place all
