Hi I am Doctor JB and I am super excited to have you as a featured Panelist for one

of our upcoming hope for med live panel discussions here at Hope for me We do things a

little bit different and that's why I wanted to take some time out to introduce you to the platform

that we will be using This is different than Zoom but it has a lot of similarities

to Zoom So I am hopeful that you will be able to quickly figure out how to

utilize our platform So when you type in the URL free dot Hope for meed.com which is written here

you see a screen that looks like this the very first time that you log on to our

platform and here is where you'll write your name Don't worry about logging in with your email just

write the name that you want to go by while you are using this platform So I am going to

type Doctor JB and then click the let's go The next thing you'll see are some avatar pictures that you

can utilize You can upload a picture from your computer or desktop If you like um it could

be the same uh profile picture you use for linkedin or Facebook or you can use one of the

pre uploaded ones here And so if you just kind of just scroll through and all I'm doing

is just kind of clicking my mouse and dragging it I'm trying to see which one I

would like to be today and I'm just gonna kind of go through all of them So

you get a sense of what's currently available on this platform So you can decide

beforehand if you want to just upload your own profile picture or if you're fine utilizing one of the

ones that are here So I think I'm gonna go ahead and go with this avatar When you click

on it you see this yellow border that lets you know that this is the avatar that you chose And

then once I'm happy with my choice I click this is me and then it will take you

to our platform So I'm gonna get rid of some of these So this is our site

where we are focusing our attention on during this video is in the conference room because that

is where we will be hosting our live events So but one thing I want to point out

is this is my avatar So you're gonna be pictured in one of these circles down here when

you first log in and your the bottom of your screen will have some of these um options

Um and just to kind of go through it so similar to zoom here's your mic And so

this is how you communicate with other people on the platform So when you are ready to speak and be

heard you go ahead and click to turn on your mic it says mic is

on and then you'll also see this cloud here pop up when you're talking Um as well

as when somebody else is talking and to turn your mic off you just click on the mic

button and it says the mic is off the same with your camera So right now this is your

avatar and you can leave it like that for the whole entire time But if you want your face to

be shown you just click to turn on your circle cam and then here I am I'm pictured now down

here again I can turn that off this all rooms button here will not be

utilized during our panel discussions This is if we have a meeting where we have breakout sessions that's

where these all rooms will be utilized So you don't have to worry about that And then my view

button it has a couple of things If you're having some difficulty with sound you can go ahead and reconnect

to kind of refresh your page This is where there are some emails here So um this is where

you can go ahead and raise your hand clap if there are multiple choice um

questions and you wanted the audience to respond ABC this is kind of how they can do it

Thumbs up thumbs down et cetera The other way you can get to your emails

is by actually clicking on your avatar itself And here you'll see the emails here and it's

exactly the same things Raise your hand clap ABC thumbs up thumbs down et cetera And then you

just go ahead and click out of it to make it go away When you click

on your avatar you'll also see a GIF here And so you can go ahead and create some

GIF So say I wanna use this one as my GIF Um And when I'm ready

to get rid of it then I just click on it and it goes away So

that's all part of my view Um This is dynamic mode This is what it looks like kind of what

we're seeing right now is Dyna dynamic mode If we were to change it to presentation

mode you'll see some things change here The text box will appear to the right and you'll have a little

bit of white space at the bottom of your screen And if somebody is sharing

their screen the screen share will will show up at the top and I will uh create a video where

you can actually see that So that's kind of the layout of things So you

get here and we're going to be having our events in the event space our conference room So you go

ahead and click on this elevator button right here where it says conference room and it will go

ahead and bring you to the conference room So when you get to the conference room you'll see that

there are red chairs up top and there are some tables with some circles So you can go ahead

and choose where to sit as a featured Panelist You are a lot of these red chairs at top

So you can decide wherever it is that you want to sit you just hover your mouse over the circle

and then you click and then you're seated If you wanna move around it's exactly the same thing You just

kind of click where you want to go and you can move around and the same thing for the audience

members Um You can go ahead and sit in the audience too and just sit wherever you

want It's your choice And if you want to go back to the welcome area where you were

before you just click this explore and it will go ahead and take you right back to that welcome

area And here this is a text box down here which also can be minimized by pressing this

little arrow button down here And then again this is the dynamic mode And if we change

it to presentation mode you're gonna see the text box up here to the right hand side

One thing I want to make sure I stress is that while the whole concept of the conference room will

remain the same the actual layout may change depending on how many featured panelists there are

as well as how many audience members will be in attendance So don't get too hung up on this

particular layout because the day of your featuring the hope for a conference room may look completely different

but some things will remain the same There will be red chairs like these where

you as a featured Panelist will sit and then there will be chairs for the audience and it'll

always be the same concept You click and move and sit wherever you want Additionally When

I share my screen you'll see here that the screen will appear at the top here So you just

kind of scroll upwards and you'll be able to see it And this is the layout that we will be

utilizing for these live panel discussions because this is where the audience response will show up And so we will

get a sense of who is in the room in terms of where they're located And any other questions that

I may ask the audience when they respond using their phones their answers will show up here on

the screen This is also where their questions that they have will appear in addition to this video If

you want more hands on training and experience utilizing this platform You are more than welcome to

join us at one of our on boarding sessions that take place the first Wednesday of the

month at 8 p.m. Eastern Standard Time On those Wednesdays either myself or somebody from my team will walk

you through this platform and make sure that you feel comfortable and well versed for your featuring
