Private Snafu: Snafuperman (1944)
Snafu annoys his fellow soldiers by listening to loud swing music and banging pots and pans in rhythm. The other soldiers at the barracks are busy studying maps, field manuals, and air recognition charts. Snafu dismisses their interest in studying, and claims he is not going to clunk the enemy over the head with books.

Snagglepuss no sooner hears a police report that Mugsy, Public Enemy Number One, is at large when Mugsy and fellow ruffian McGoofy enter Snag's house. Snagglepuss hides in the closets, disguises himself as a lion rug and tries other ruses to avoid detection.

The film gives a portrait of mental health treatment during the 50s, which was the heyday of treating mental patients in big institutions.

An American 1943 instruction film, designed to inform service personnel and improve troop morale. First episode and pilot for the series.
