description The creator economy is becoming increasingly irrelevant when it comes to your age The myth

that success in the space is reserved for the young This is really being shattered on

a daily basis by creators of all ages If you're hesitating to start your digital brand because

you think you're too old it's time to reconsider your strategy your age it can actually be

an advantage before we discuss your age being an asset Make sure you follow make sure you hit

the subscribe button Each follow really helps us push the content out and give other creators the opportunity

to build their brands Why is age such an asset Here are four reasons to consider when you are thinking

you are too old that most younger creators don't have Number one is life experience Your years of experience

provide a wealth of knowledge and stories that younger creators just don't have I started creating when I

was in my early to mid twenties and I ended up switching brands at least five times of

which none were successful Why did I switch back and forth so much I was inexperienced in life and did

not know what exactly to talk about After a few months of setting up creating content the excitement

wore off And because I was not stable enough in my message I would start

doubting myself start doubting the message I would go back to the drawing board I would rebrand start the process

all over again Another three months would go by I would have a little bit of success but I

was never giving myself enough time to break through to get to that point because of

my personal lack of knowledge and life experience Number two you have an established network Most

likely you have a broader network of contacts built over your career These contacts can be leveraged for collaborations

for opportunities This is really a game changer If you know how to utilize it

even if you have a small contact list you have more than most younger creators

simply because you've been alive longer and you've been able to make more connections Number

three financial stability older creators often have more financial resources to invest in their brand without the

pressures faced by younger creators who are maybe just starting out things like disposable income

more stable work Probably these provide consistent cash flow and a little bit more wisdom in

spending All of these can be great advantages to starting out your brand Number four is unique perspective Your viewpoint

is valuable and this viewpoint can fill gaps in the market that younger creators might not see yet or fully

understand This comes down to life experience and with more life experience you just have more

to share I often talk about making sure you are doing or you have done

what you are planning to create and teach on This is very important especially for

older creators I believe this can come more natural if you've spent 10 years in a

trade versus just starting out in that trade the person that spent 10 years will

have naturally much more to talk about much more to discuss because they have not just learned about it

but they've lived through that process Number five is access to more resources with financial stability

You can accelerate the process for yourself more than someone just starting out in life I

highly recommend you take accelerated courses You invest in tools early on to speed up the process

that younger creators may not be able to do as quickly This is what I did at

twenties to my mid thirties I created a few brands I quit those brands and then I moved

on in life When I got to about 3738 years old I made the decision I was going

to go back into creating I knew what I was going to create on how I was going to

do it because I was already living it prior to coming into creating on what I

was going to talk about What did I do At that point I started taking courses I started investing

in tools into my business because I wanted to trim the learning curve down from three years

to five years down to 1 to 2 years So by being older I believe you

have more disposable resources I highly recommend finding those targeted courses those targeted tools that will save you time and

will accelerate your process to having greater success What if it takes me five years to grow or more

I get this question all the time when people take my courses or they send me

emails and my answer is always the same Don't worry about the time and focus on your content

I know you've heard this before but it is very true I used to worry

what if I am 50 by the time I start making money or what if

no one follows or what if my content is bad and I lose motivation to keep

going All of these are normal valid concerns But the truth of the matter is this you

are going to start your brand and start creating content around that brand One of two things

are going to happen for you Number one you are going to enjoy it build it and understand your

audience in a way that allows you to earn money from them consistently by helping them solve

their problems consistently Number two you are going to realize after a few months that this is not for

you or you are going to possibly rebrand and then have your success come after that rebranding

Either way you're going to come out on top either as a successful creator or knowing

that it was not for you but finding new opportunities from getting started and going through that

process Remember the creator economy it does not care how old you are does not care about age It all

comes down to what value are you providing to your audience And are you finding ways to connect

with them If you can do that if you can do it well you're going

to have success over time if it takes you one year or it takes you 10

years who really cares if you're enjoying yourself and you're helping people in the process If you're

interested in taking a targeted program into creating a content production system for yourself or

creating your digital product business I encourage you to check the links in the description

and I will see you in the next one
