Midnight Manhunt (1945)
Two reporters (William Gargan, Ann Savage) search for a missing body in a wax museum.
An unemployed construction worker stops at a remote farm in the desert to get water when his car overheats. The farm is being worked by a group of East European Catholic nuns, headed by the strict mother superior, who believes the man has been sent by God to build a much-needed church in the desert.
Curly Joe puts on his coat and begins to go out the door. Moe asks where he is going, and he says to the dentist. The Stooges cause all kinds of trouble by trying to extract the toot themselves.
In Victorian era London, the inhabitants of a family home with rented rooms upstairs fear the new lodger is Jack the Ripper.
