When building a digital business success often comes to those who are not afraid to fail counterintuitive as thismay seem becoming good at failure It can really be your secret weapon for achieving that lasting success thatyou're looking for Today we will discuss why cultivating a healthy relationship with failure is a good practiceto start succeeding in your digital business and in life in general Before we getinto that I wanna thank today's sponsor my newsletter the part time Digital Business Irecommend you sign up for this It's a free resource and it acts as aweekly guide really helping you and not just building your digital business but understanding how to succeedin the creator economy Today every week I send out very curated articles on whatI think is the most important things to learn Join thousands in the group You can find thelink in the description Let's start with rapid learning and adaptation The digital realm is constantly evolving There'snew technology there's new platforms and consumer behavior emerging at a very fast pace When we get used tofailure as a learning tool you can position yourself to quickly adapt to these changes Each failure should provide youvaluable data and insight that can really inform you and your next move This will allow you topivot and refine your strategy much more effectively than your competitors who are possibly playing it more safeHow can you expect to learn anything significant if you are always playing it safe Some of the biggestlessons that I have learned were from failing If you are creating content and peopleare not engaging with it that is a lesson to adjust your message If you are creating coursesmaybe you're creating digital products and no one is buying them You are getting a hands on lesson a handson learning experience that something is not working Now let's move to innovation through experimentationto truly be innovative This rarely comes from playing it safe The most groundbreaking digitalproducts or services often arise from numerous failed attempts and iterations by getting uncomfortable with being comfortable by gettingmore comfortable with failure You'll be more willing to take those calculated risks and experimentwith different ideas The mindset behind this really fosters creativity and can lead to those bigger breakthroughs you arelooking for in your work Remember that unless you have put in your 10,000 hours really mastering and refining yourcraft you're likely missing at least a few key pieces to your digital brand you're missingsome of these key data points I can competently say that there were at least adozen times I said to myself OK this is it I finally have the perfect formulaonly to realize I was missing a huge piece of the puzzle And I had to go back tothe drawing board and I had to rebuild that properly based on watching another creator basedon seeing what someone else was doing Realizing there's more to the process Let me goback and refine this process Let me go back and take these data points thatI've just learned and plug them in so I can refine my own system Now before we discussthe importance of building res resilience and really how to do that Make sure to follow make sure to subscribeeach follow and subscribe really helps push out the content and helps get the contentout to more people Now the digital business landscape here it can be really unforgiving with intense competition There arerapid market shifts as well that occur So developing a resilience how do you do thisthrough repeated exposure to failure This really prepares you to handle whatever is coming and there will always be newchallenges coming each step back It becomes an opportunity to strengthen your resolve And moreimportantly refine your problem solving skills to make your business more robust in the long run Iknow you've heard this before but this is something I really wish I had paidmore attention to Not when I was going and when things were moving successfully more inthe beginning When I was just starting out I used to think that building resilience was just a baselineterm It was just understood and I never truly grasped it the proper way The number one biggestreason people quit that I work with and I speak to after they start is theyfail one time two times three times after so many failures they tend to throwin the towel I can't make this work How will this work for me If you are notin the right mindset when you fail it will probably possibly be enough to take youout Imagine how many seven figure businesses have never made it all the way because the person behind themdid not know how to fail properly So faster time to market is another thing I want to discuss hereSpeed is often a competitive advantage When we think of speed you get there faster you'rethe fastest one by adopting a fail fast and fail often approach You can quickly test ideasand you can bring those products to market This process allows you to gather realworld feedback and make improvements on the fly rather than doing what I used to do is spending excessive timeperfecting a product that just sits in isolation and does not go anywhere or grow anywhere or generatefeedback from users which is very important How long does it take you to go to marketAsk yourself this question Do you ever get there Are you always in the planning stage Planning is theroot of all evil when it comes to making money online I used to planmore than I actually worked I was using planning as a safety net instead ofgetting out there with my own products and sort of facing the music So stop planningas much and just put things out into the market Let your audience ping back and tellyou what's working and what isn't working This is the fastest way to build and really refineyour products Now let's talk about authentic customer connections transparency and authenticity These are highlyvalued by consumers all consumers by openly acknowledging failure sharing how you've learned from those failuresYou can build those stronger connections form those stronger bonds with your audience This honesty canenhance brand loyalty and it can really differentiate you from competitors who are presenting a moreflawless facade We all know brands that promote that way and there's nothing wrong with that inparticular the problem is there's nothing real being conveyed in those messages So myself as an example Ican relate better to someone who tells me they made a mistake This is whatthey did This is how they learned from that mistake versus someone who is always presenting themselvesas flawless never making mistakes Now this does not mean you should be spending yourwhole time creating your content on your mistake solely But admitting there were mistakes admitting therewere bumps in the road which we all know deep down how you got there there had tohave been mistakes It's a good idea I like to blend about 10% of mistakesinto my content because I want you to know I believe learning from mistakes is a much better toolthan just me conveying a message If I can give a mistake or a problem that I learned from Ithink it's an easier way to remember that and I think it will stick in yourmemory much better At least it does for me So in conclusion mastering the art of failure this isone of the most effective paths to success in your digital business and your personal brand andyour content creation When you reframe failure as a valuable tool for learning this iswhere you can position yourself for growth position yourself for that innovation and that change that you are looking forSo take the time embrace failing learn from failing and use it to take yourbusiness to take your brand to the level that you want it to go again
