High Voltage (1929)
A busload of passengers gets stranded in a snowstorm and take refuge in an abandoned church, where they run into a mysterious man who may be on the run from the law.

From General Electric Theater. Joan Crawford plays Ann Howard, a painter and the abused wife of a plantation boss in Singapore. Her life drastically changes when George Manson visits the plantation unexpectedly.


This semi-film within a film opens in the office of producer George Jessel, who never saw a camera he couldn’t get in front of, who is holding a story conference to determine the screen treatment for the life of Eva Tanguay, and Jessel is unhappy with what the writers present him.
