Acts Chapter 24
Paul now goes before Felix. Annias, with his attorney Tertullus present their case against Paul to Felix. They presented a weak case, which Paul was pretty much able refute. However, Felix chose not to decide his case, placing him in jail, but with various freedoms in regard to visitations. Felix, along with Drusilla listened to Paul's message for several years before Felix was succeeded by Porcius Festus.

Acts Chapter 18
Paul's second missionary journey is ending. He arrives in Corinth and meets Aquila and his wife Priscilla who become his fellow workers. After teaching in the synagogue, the Jews opposed him, so he goes out to the Gentiles. Priscilla and Aquila meet a Jew named Apollos whom they then taught him a more accurate picture of who Jesus was, and then he went on and helped all who believed in Jesus Christ and the salvation that comes from grace.

Acts Chapter 5
The death of Ananias and Sapphira is often misunderstood, being less about what was given and more about hypocrisy. How this was addressed is clearly the work of God. The Apostles continued proclaiming the truth, however the Jewish leadership reacted negativily to this. However, the results were not what the Jewish leadership expected. But a highly respected Pharisee advised them how they should address these new teachings.
