hello beautiful people and welcome to Sister speaking English I'm Joe I'm an English language teacher

from New Zealand and I created this group for women all around the world to get together to

actually start improving your English speaking and to share and meet with each other so I really hope you'll love

it here it's a fantastic group we have women here from over 70 countries he's I

think we are past 70 now from six out of seven continents and it's a very very

lovely way to learn about the world and to connect with other women while you are improving your

English speaking so it's a fantastic group it is quite unlike any other language learning group that I

have found on Facebook and we're really proud of it we love it it so I hope you love it

here please do introduce yourself make a post say hello would love to meet you we'd

love to know where you're from and what it's like where you live so remember that

by posting and writing commenting you are using English for a real communicative purpose and that's the

best way to improve your language is by using English to communicate unit Kate with real people

in real situations so I hope you'll love it here and I really do hope that it will

help with your English I have seen some amazing amazing progress and the confidence in the fluency of some of

our members since they've started coming to our Zoom classes and engaging in the group so make the

so very quickly I'd like to show you how to find our Zoom classes we have zoom classes just

a minute I've disappeared one moment here we go there I go so we have in this free Facebook group

we have one free class every week the time of that class changes and the

reason that it changes is because we have women and all of these different time zones so I

want to make sure that we everybody gets an opportunity to join us for free

sometimes we do also have more classes and our very very affordable speaking membership where we have

four classes each week at regular times so if you would like to know more about that please just

message me have a look around you'll see some information about that but quickly before I go I'd like

to show you where to find the information about our Zoom classes because this is Facebook

and Facebook is not necessarily going to send you a notification don't wait to be

invited you need to be proactive which be if you are proactive it means you are doing something

to help you achieve your own goals so be proactive Come & 2 group and our beautiful banner here with

for the week so this is where we put the free class each week you will also

see this blue clock now if you click on here it's going to show you

the time of that event converted to your local time so do you use that world clock

and you will see that people post and the comments here they take a screenshot and post what

time it will be in their country to so check the time they're the event is here so

open up the event so this week we're talking about families and we're going to

talk about one particular family member we can all practice our subject verb agreement because we love that so here

is this week's event you'll notice that there are and there is a little information

some questions to think about to get you started thinking before the class you don't have

to prepare if you don't have time just come along you will also see in the event I put a

countdown timer and I will also be be posting the meeting ID before the meeting as well the meeting ID

will also go into the event yet find it easily there's a countdown timer if you click on this it

will show you how long how many days hours minutes to go and till the

class starts and up here you will see a great at button right here it will right here I'm

clicking here it sees joint event now at the moment if you click that nothing

will happen because this event hasn't started yet but at the time of this event when you click

here the zoom link is already there so you just click the button and and you go or

you will find the meeting ID will be here to this time Sean and read at the top

here this time here you will see that at the moment this shows 10:00 p.m. Sunday 10:00 p.m. that is

shown and my local time because this is on my computer so this local time is for me

so 10 p.m. for me is going to be around about 2 p.m. in Europe Western Europe

and Egypt three and Jordan and turkey so it's think it's maybe five seven five pm and Vietnam we have

so many different countries but this should show in your local time here but do check

Duty use the timer use the countdown timer use the world clock check this red

colored time and that should help you to find out the correct time to join so hopefully you'll be

a will bow and you can come and join us this week we would love to meet you

and I'll put up some more information during the week as well about what to

expect when you join a zoom class if you have joined our mailing list please keep

an eye on your emails for the email which will also share the details of this event

so you don't need to go looking for it on Facebook you can just go straight to

it from your emails but you may need to look and your promotions folder I'm sorry so add me to
