So, the last app on your top five,

Claudia is probably your favorite app.

    It's Klaviyo.

You are a certified Klaviyo expert.

    You do so much work,

    one-on-one with our clients,

    setting up Klaviyo for them.

And really what you're doing is helping them set up Reliable

    Revenue on autopilot.

This is where we don't have to reinvent the wheel all

    the time.

We automate a lot of content to the most valuable people,

the people on our email list,

and we end up generating sales every day.

    So, talk about,

    let's, let's tell everyone what I mean.

It's not just another email service provider.

What do you think Klaviyo really is?

Well, it is definitely your owned marketing channel,

right? It's different than social because you know,

    this is your list,

    your people,

    your community,

    your audience.

And Klaviyo provides the tools to be in touch and communicatewith

    your subscribers.

And these are subscribers that want to hear from your business

and they're following your journey and they buy from you.

    Yeah. So,

    you know,

what I like about it is the deep it,

it has such a deep integration with Shopify or WooCommerce that

it really allows you to segment your list down into little

tiny pockets of people who might have a specific interest.

Like I still remember when I had Wee Squeak and I

    would, you know,

be watching Netflix with my husband at night and it was

some car chase movie that I wasn't that interested in.

And I would be literally dialing for dollars,

like finding people who had looked at a particular shoe in

    the last seven days and,

and sending them an email with that shoe again,

    just getting them in front,

like not offering a discount or anything.

    And I don't,

I think that that's invaluable because you can actually show people

    what they want to see.

    That's my,

my favorite part about Klaviyo is the integration.

    Yeah, absolutely.

    Yeah, I think it is.

Of all the email marketing service providers,

it's most deeply integrated with Shopify.

Well we know in the last year,

Shopify has even bought into 10% of the company,

so we know that they're invested in in the app too,

    right? For sure.

    But yeah,

    there's like,

oh, I don't know how many data points are integrated,

but what that means for you,

    as you said,

is you can create these segments and you can respond and

communicate with your customers with very detailed and personalized information about,

    about what their,

    what they were looking at,

    you know,

from abandoned carts to blog posts that they were looking at,

    or yeah.

What products they were looking at.

And they just keep adding features.

Like, we can now create product feeds that are based on

    what they looked at and,

    you know,

show them the last three or four products they were looking

    at, you know,

automatically in an email that's personalized for every subscriber.

So it just makes the automations that can be set up

so, so easy and so personalized and so relevant to the

    customer. Yeah.

    And with this relevance comes,

    you know,

just a better experience for the subscriber instead of the old

    batch and blast method.

    Right? Right.

It just doesn't work like it used to work.

    It just,

    you know,

half of that stuff doesn't get delivered if you send all

the things to everybody all the time.

So, and also I think Klaviyo has come so far and

is really probably the leader in lead generation too.

    I mean,

    their forms are,

what you can do with their forms is kind of amazing,

    isn't it?

    It's great.

because you can have embedded forms,

    pop-up forms,

full page forms that we can now use for people who

    are, you know,

uncomfortable creating code on their site to make a,

    a custom landing page.

We can just use a full page form and now,

so it's super easy to set up.

Yep. And then of course you can just add like little

custom properties to the form so that you can track revenue

over time for people that are added to your list.

Ah, so like from a giveaway or from a early access

    event, the,

the data that you can get is incredible.

    It really is.

And one of my favorite things you can do with the

    forms is create that gate.

    Like if somebody is,

    they use a collection,

you can have a takeover form.

And if they're not on your list,

    Klaviyo knows that already.

You can say this is only for subscribers and they have

to subscribe and then you can track the revenue from that

    person. It's,

    it's so,

so, so much data that you can actually use to grow

    your business,

    like grow,

    not only grow your sales,

    but grow your profitability.

Which leads me to what I think is the biggest problem.

There are probably lots of people using Klaviyo already,

but they're not using all the power that Klaviyo has.

It's kind of like our first one with Judge.Me.

    It's a very popular,

    it's a very popular app,

but they're leaving a lot of money on the table because

    they're not maximizing it.

    So, let's talk about automations,

because you do a lot of work for people on automations.

    Yeah. Setting up flows,

    you know,

again, closer once they're set up,

    it's, you know,

    set it in,

    forget it.

    I mean,

    although I say forget it,

    you know,

you may wanna revisit those flows once a year or so

    and update them,

    tweak them,

    you know,

    make sure that the,

the product feeds are still feeding,

    that kind of thing.

    Yeah. Yeah.

And, but there's some basic foundational flows everyone should have in

place, but as your business grows,

you wanna be able to extend those existing flows and add

    new flows.

So, you wanna keep adding flows so that you have these

more and more touchpoints with your customers.

Yeah. And then as your business is growing,

    you can use these,

these filters and the customization to create branches to keep more

relevant information to people by the types of products they purchased

    or, yeah,

yeah. One of the things that you mentioned earlier was that

on the thank you page of the ReConvert app,

    when someone purchases the offer,

is that you ask people to sign up for a birthday

    club. So,

    beyond the basic flows,

like the welcome series that maybe get a second order flow,

the abandoned cart and the browse abandonment,

    which is so creepy,

right? If someone is who's on your list looking at something,

    you're gonna automate an email.

    But that one,

that one for me with Wee Squeak,

paid for my whole Klaviyo bill every month.

But, but something that you can add extra is,

    for example,

    like the birthday club,

you could automate the offer for the birthday to go out

just based on the information you have on the client.

And so that's the way you generate additional revenue and reliable

sales every day of the year without having to put on

a circus all the time or offer a sale.

    Yeah, yeah,

    absolutely. So,

we have other flows like birthday club flows,

    a red hot flow,

which is where it's a flow that goes to people that

    are just visiting the site,

    sort of like browse abandonment,

    but they're,

    you know,

    active on the site,

have a little special offer that goes out to those people.

    There can be,

there's flows like a back in stock flow.

Yeah. That one it'll automatically trigger if they,

    if inventory is just been,

was it zero when people have signed up to be alerted,

as soon as a positive number is added in Shopify,

it automatically alerts all the people that we're waiting to hear

    about that product.

The other types of flows are a,

if you change the price in Shopify,

lower a price on a product,

it can trigger a flow to all the people that were

looking at that product say in the last 60 days.

    Wow. There's,

yeah, we have flows that can be triggered if someone is

    viewing your blog pages,

    a replenishment flow.

If you have a consumable product,

you can set a flow to go out every,

what's the usual timeline people need to repurchase that product.

    It goes on and on.

    And just this last,

I would say in the last couple of weeks,

there's a new integration with Shopify for shipping.

    Shipment is deliver,

out for delivery and shipment is delivered.

So, you can now trigger a flow or you know,

when someone has just received their product.

    Really good.

    So thank you for that.

I think there are so many people with Klaviyo that aren't

    using it to,

    to its full potential,

but then there's another group of people who aren't using Klaviyo

because it is not the cheapest email service provider you can

use. And they are concerned about the cost.

They, they think they can get the same features for a

    lower price.

    What do you,

why do you think it's worth every penny and why it's

    the best solution?

Well, I think it's worth any,

    every penny because of these,

these integrations and these data points and the flexibility that you

have and something else is that the data is there available

for you to see what your results are.

    And the results,

in the way Klaviyo has set up their analytics is actually

    quite conservative.

So, when you're looking at the results in Klaviyo about revenue

attribution to your flows and your campaigns,

it's actually going to be understated.

Whereas often the way other email providers set up their attribution,

    it's overstated.

Like they might apply revenue to a flow for someone that

was in that flow in the last 30 days,

ah, whereas Klaviyo maximizes it to five days.

    So, it's a little more,

    it's just more accurate.

    So, yeah,

and, and this is important of having the right data to

look at as a business so that you know,

    what your,

because I mean your revenue that's coming in from your flows

is going to be coming from traffic to your site.

It's going to be based on how you're driving traffic to

    your site.

So you need to know how that's converting,

    but not over,

    you know,

    a one month time.

You need to know if it's,

    you know,

working, working now and not being overstated.

    Yeah, yeah.

But so there's lots of reports and data that are available

right in Klaviyo to set up so that you know what

    your, and I don't,

    I mean,

I'd be hard pressed to find a business that isn't making

way more money than what they're paying Klaviyo every month.

    Yeah, Agree.

    I think,

I think that what we see more often than not is

    a business that is,

is has still a lot of opportunity with Klaviyo because I

    think of email marketing and,

and using Klaviyo for that as a way to control my

    sales. I really do.

    And I,

I know that you have a couple of our clients who

had Klaviyo and they hired you to actually put some of

these flows in place and check their flows and,

and clean up their flows and,

    you know,

    make them really good.

And I can see here on the notes that we've got

    that one,

    it's Lisa again from Kheyleve,

her email marketing revenue increased by 25%.

Yeah. And that's just in 30 days after I implemented her

    new flow.

    So she,

    this is the business that,

    you know,

was doing a great volume of business,

right? She had Klaviyo set up,

she had her flows in place,

they'd been running for a while,

but she was interested in me doing an audit on her

site. I did an audit on her Klaviyo account and found

    that, you know,

something that I typically find is often people have the triggers

or filters on their flows or incorrect,

and they're losing money that way and they don't realize it

'cause they don't really know what to look for or they're

    busy doing other things,

    it's not a priority.

And then they're shocked when they find out that they,

how much more money they could be making.

    So yeah,

    so just working,

    redoing her flows,

    her signup forms,

    you know,

    fixing up some of the,

    the triggers and filters,

    her revenue increased 25%,

    you know,

    right away.

    And then another client,

same situation had flows in place,

    but there was some,

just some triggers and filters that were incorrect.

    They just needed better.

    The templates needed,

    you know,

better layouts and configuration and her revenue increased like almost 500%

    in the,

in the month after the change.

And she was at a time of year where her sales

were usually low and she was just flabbergasted.

    And, you know,

this is taking existing traffic that's coming to her site that

    they just,

    you know,

there was just lost opportunities within her account.

    Yeah, yeah.

    I mean she was,

    you know,

    her, her,

her account was generating some revenue,

    but it just wasn't,

    you know,

    not to its full potential.

Right? And so what this leaves me with,

and I want you all to onboard this,

    that, again,

this is an app for beginners all the way to high

    volume stores.

But what this leaves me with is: that you can always

do better with what you have.

And instead of running out and trying to find the next

new shiny thing and thinking that that's gonna solve all your

sales problems or it's gonna grow your business,

that you really owe it to yourself to choose a few

    of these aids,

    these apps,

wisely, and then really use them,

really understand what they can do for you.

And how you can make them work for your business.

And that your time spent on that is going,

you're gonna get such better payoff for your time than you

running out and looking to start something new.

    Do you agree?

    Yes, I do.

So my advice is if you have Klaviyo already and you

owe it to yourself to have a look and have a

    look right on your dashboard,

because we know that most stores that are working and really

working hard at their Klaviyo and getting it optimized,

    can get between,

on the low end 20% of their sales from email marketing

and on the high end 60%.

And so lots of people when they come to us would

    be below that.

I'd say the average is probably 30,

    So, if you're below that,

you know that you need to really work on that first

before you go and invest any time on something new.

    So, if that's you,

that's what you need to do.

If you don't have Klaviyo and you think that you're,

    you know,

what you have is good enough.

I would say that's the biggest opportunity to get more profit

into your business and start getting reliable revenue is bite the

    bullet. Say,

I'm not gonna have a bunch of apps.

I'm not gonna spend a ton of money,

    but I,

I am gonna have this and I'm gonna learn how to

    make that work for me.

    Agree? Agree.

    And if you need help,

you can always get Claudia to do it for you and

    then, you know,

    it'll, you'll know it'll be done right.

    But you know,

    either way,

whether you do it yourself or you hire it out,

it's probably the one app that we've talked about in this

series that will generate the most revenue for you.

    Yeah, absolutely.

    Yeah. Well,

    thank you.

Thank you for helping with these.

    Thank you.

    . That was great.

    I will,

in the handout that we have of all these apps,

I will put your contact information so if people have questions

or they want to hire you for any of this,

    they can.

    But thank you.

This is what we recommend that,

    you know,

we've, our clients sell millions of dollars worth of products.

These are the apps that we see generating that revenue for

    them. And so,

    I hope this was helpful.

    We'll see you soon.
