Winchester '73 (1950)
Lin McAdam rides into town on the trail of Dutch Henry Brown, only to find himself in a shooting competition against him. McAdam wins the prize, a one-in-a-thousand Winchester rifle.


Melvin Martin and Calvin Cloy, two mountaineers, ask for the hand of Susie Sal, the prettiest gal in the mountains. Since it's proposal Sunday, Susie Sal gives the two mountain swains a task. To the first one who brings her a genuine mountain lion fur, she will give her hand in marriage.

This is the story of a young owl who wants to sing jazz, instead of the classical music that his German parents wish him to perform. The plot is a lighthearted tribute to Al Jolson’s film The Jazz Singer.
