My latest podcast, Classic Rock 60s-70s, aired on Thursday, May 1st, 2025, and it was a total blast!
We took a trip through some of the best tracks from the '60s and '70s, covering everything from rock, pop, and blues rock to psychedelic rock, sunshine pop, power pop, and, of course, classic rock. 🎸
We heard timeless music from legendary bands and artists like:

- Paul Revere and the Raiders
- The Monkees
- The Grass Roots

- And many more!
But the real treat was having Godfrey Townsend on the show. Godfrey’s an absolute legend in the rock world, and he shared incredible stories about his time performing with some of the greatest in the business.
He’s worked with names like Jack Bruce of Cream, Alan Parsons, John Entwistle of The Who, Dave Mason of Traffic, Joey Molland, and many others. He also talked about his time with The Yardbirds, his role as music director for the Happy Together Tour, and his epic tribute performances for Eric Clapton.
This episode is packed with rock nostalgia, powerful guitar performances, and some deep dives into music history. 🎧
