GTA 6 on PC might be closer than you think a beloved Survival game just crossed

the finish line and Riot is pulling the plug on something a lot of people just started loving this

is itty-bitty gaming news let's get it let's kick things off with the news every PC Gamer has been waiting

on according to a new report GTA 6 is on track to hit PC in the first quarter of 2027

that's between January through March much sooner than the late 20:27 window a lot of

us were mentally budgeting for eurogamer's sites Insider sources saying Rockstar has the PC build in

a good place and wants to capitalize on a console momentum rather than let it cool

for a year we're obviously this is it still a report not an announcement Rockstar hasn't officially confirmed anything but

the sources are credible enough that the gaming press is taking it seriously if this holds PC gamers are

looking at one of the biggest launches in history Landing before the end of winter

not to mention that could also mean that GTA online has a shot of coming

out sometime next year only time will tell next after almost three years in Early Access enshrouded

has officially launched as a bull 1.0 release October 15th Keen games dropped the complete version

on PC and for the first time PlayStation five the 1.0 Lodge adds a complete story a bigger map and

a ton of new content that makes this feel like an entirely different game from the one

that hit Early Access back in 2024 enshrouded sits in that sweet spot between Val hai' Mandel didn't ring

survival crafting with Souls like combat and has been building a dedicated fan base to whole time

it was in Early Access this full launch should pull in a fresh wave of

players who were waiting for the finished version and from a game finishing strong to one that couldn't stick The

Landing Riot has announced that League of Legends classic is shutting down in January just three months after it launched

this is the Standalone retro client Ryan put out to let players relive the season one

do are of league and apparently most people tried it and went back to regular League

Riot is framing this as a rotating game mode situation rather than an outright failure they say

they hope to bring it back but when your Nostalgia project last less than a

quarter that's a tough sell the interesting takeaway here is that leagues current state might actually be better

than its past we're at least better than players remembered let's switch gears to something that's actually Making Waves right

now pun absolutely intended subnautica to has launched its second major early acces update since it launched in May

unknown worlds and craft and are Kong if the voyage to Early Access to which

is a bit meta but also kind of perfect for a franchise that built its following during early

access the first time the update includes a new major region with multiple new biomes a ton of new

creatures and story elements the Frog chassis and a ton of other changes expect lots of updates between

now and a full release as they continue to make new Dev videos to communicate closely with the

community and here's one that caught a lot of people off guard this week RuneScape reignited

the Fresh Start economy realize that jagex announced for a December launch has been cancelled and we're talking less than

two weeks after it was announced jagex had positioned reignite as a clean slate version

of RuneScape with a healthier economy and no pay-to-win baggage the community response was not great veterans were

upset about how their existing progress will be handled and jagex apparently decided to backlash with enough to

pull the plug entirely rather than push through this is a tough one RuneScape has a

fiercely loyal fan base and they'll let you know when they don't like something all right this one is

actually actionable right now if you haven't tried it yet Battlefield 6 is in the

middle of a free trial window running through October 19th that's this coming up Monday

PCP has an Xbox all have access to the full game for the duration of the trial and

ETA is stacking a discount on top of it if you decide to buy the game is also available on

Steam as part of the trial which is notable because EA has been slowly but

surely moving back to steam after years of keeping everything behind the scrappy EA app if you've been
