Thelma and Patsy find themselves in a spooky house inhabited by a nut who is a mechanical genius and has made a robot who does everything. The inventor manipulates the robot’s control board from a hidden room. The girls are soon in a panic.
A remake of Frank Capra’s Submarine (1928). Submarine officers Dorgan (Dix) and Mason (Morris) battle on land for the affections of dance-hall girl Carmen (Dolores del Rio).
The stooges are helping a master painter paint a mural up high on some scaffolding. He leaves them in charge while he is gone, and only bad things begin to happen.
A womanizing reporter for a sleazy tabloid magazine impersonates his hen-pecked neighbor in order to get an expose on renowned psychologist Helen Gurley Brown.
