morning happy Saturday morning to you I'm enjoying a nice her herbal tea this morning and

just taking a few moments to be still to step off the treadmill and just be do you feel guilty

when you do that a lot of people I know feel like that if they take Pacific

time just to be still to set to be mindful there's this background round kind of guilt that's there

or you should be doing this you should be doing that and I want to encourage

you just to pause this morning just to stop and if when you stop you're bombarded

with mind chatter that you'd rather not be present with you know maybe things that

are just coming back to you from the past and things like that I want to encourage you

just to stop and be present to just take a moment and I'm going to do it just for

a moment with you is just to stop and notice where you are me I'm just

noticing my living room I'm focusing on various things with in the room so I'm

being present and not in the thoughts not in the chatter and just start to notice your breath

you know what I want to show you as well is that you don't always have to actually meditate we

can just be present with your eyes open with a Cuppa tea and so I want you just

to follow this quick guided stop for two seconds kind of experience so back to noticing the room just being

present notice your drink if you're having a cup of tea or whatever and just breathe and this time

I don't even want you to close your eyes I just want you to notice where you

are that you are in this moment you're not in any other moment and as you looking

around just notice your shoulders and just allow them to drop and then Focus gently on

relaxing your shoulders and gently all the way down to your waist to your knees until your

feet and just breathe and just rest and notice the present moment and I'm just allowing myself to notice

the present moment and no matter what's going on for me I'm noticing that and I'm just opening my

senses to that Heavenly love and breathe and rest and be still just breathe rest let those

shoulders drop and just notice how good it is to be where you are now so that's the Saturday morning

prompt to be still to rest and to also notice that you don't always have to close your

eyes you can learn to be mindful even with your eyes open and just learning how to catch that moment

even when maybe you're at work and you're on your coffee break you're standing at the bus

stop and hopefully you can start to integrate this into your routine but we'll build on it

in the days and weeks to come
